Polish authorities have thwarted a plot allegedly backed by Russia to assassinate a Ukrainian-American citizen in Warsaw, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced. A suspect, reportedly recruited by Russian intelligence services, was apprehended in Poland on August 7 and is currently in custody for a three-month period.
