Arriving with First Lady Marta Nawrocka, President Nawrocki is set to engage in several key activities aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Central to the visit is a meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., where both leaders will engage in bilateral and delegation-level talks to explore areas of mutual interest and foster stronger relations. This meeting is expected to touch on various dimensions of cooperation between Poland and the Philippines.
In addition to diplomatic discussions, President Nawrocki will participate in the 5th Polish-Philippine IT Business Summit, an event designed to bolster technological collaboration. He will also interact with participants of a Polish-Philippine hackathon, which aims to drive innovation and partnership in the tech sector. Meetings with business representatives from both countries are also scheduled, emphasizing the potential for enhanced economic collaboration.
President Nawrocki’s itinerary includes an engagement with students at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, where he will address the academic community. Furthermore, he is slated to meet with members of the Polish community and individuals who actively contribute to strengthening Polish-Philippine relations.
The visit will conclude with an inspection of Col. Jesus Villamor Air Base, where he will observe Black Hawk helicopters manufactured by Poland’s PZL Mielec. These helicopters, acquired by the Philippine Air Force, highlight the defense collaboration between the two countries.
